Welcome to The Keon Hotel – Art Store (“we”, “us”, “our”).
We operate this website to provide a curated art purchasing experience in Ontario, Canada. Our store is powered by Shopify.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (age of majority in Ontario) to use this store.
2. Nature of Artwork
Our artworks are original or limited-edition physical pieces.
Due to the handmade and artistic nature of these works:
- Minor variations in texture, tone, or finish may occur.
- Colors may appear differently depending on screen settings.
- Some works may be one-of-a-kind.
If an artwork becomes unavailable due to inventory discrepancy or in-person sale, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Purchase of artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
3. Orders & Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
Orders are not final until payment is processed and confirmed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
All artwork sales are final and subject to our Refund Policy.
4. Pricing & Taxes
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Applicable Ontario HST will be added at checkout.
Prices may change without notice.
5. Delivery & Pick-Up
We sell within Ontario, Canada only.
We do not offer courier or third-party shipping due to the size and structure of our artworks.
Customers may choose:
A. Pick-Up at The Keon Hotel – Ottawa
Pick-up is available by appointment. Proof of purchase is required.
B. Local Delivery (Up to 60 km from Ottawa)
Delivery fees apply based on distance.
Delivery is arranged directly with the customer.
The artwork must be inspected at the time of delivery or pick-up.
Once the artwork is physically accepted and signed for, it is considered delivered in satisfactory condition.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon physical handover.
6. Inspection & Acceptance
Customers are required to inspect the artwork upon delivery or pick-up.
If visible damage exists, it must be documented immediately before acceptance.
Once signed and accepted, the sale is final.
7. Intellectual Property
All artwork images, branding, text, logos, and design elements on this website are the exclusive property of The Keon Hotel – Art Store.
Purchase of artwork does not grant reproduction, commercial use, licensing, NFT minting, or digital rights.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Shopify Platform
Our store is hosted by Shopify.
Shopify is not responsible for any transaction between you and The Keon Hotel – Art Store.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Ontario and Canadian law, The Keon Hotel – Art Store shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the artwork in dispute.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted under Ontario consumer protection law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of changes.
